Ability: Digital Devil Story

Lisa's gift is a power born for the digital age. When activated, Digital Devil Story allows her to instantaneously convert herself, along with any desired objects or beings she is in contact with, into data. This data will then enter a nearby computer system of her choosing, be it a smartphone, personal computer, et cetera. All of the data will be stored in a single compressed file called "data.dds," which users of the system will be oddly unable to move or alter. While inside a computer, Lisa can navigate the system or its network as if it were a physical location. She possesses nigh-omnipotence within her digital world, having full control over all the data within. This ability can be used to modify existing data on the system, navigate onto the web to find another system, or virtually anything else a keen user could do with their data.

When exiting a system, Lisa and her passengers will be reconstructed from the data.dds file. So long as the data was transferred smoothly, they will be reconstructed perfectly. However, corrupted data or data lost through transfer can result in physical injuries after reconstruction.

Lisa can also bring objects that exist only in the digital world out of a computer, reconstructing them as she does herself. However, the object will not have any properties that its digital counterpart was not programmed with. Thus, an image will be nothing but a near-weightless replica, while a ball from a physics simulation may behave in a very realistic way.

The main drawback to using DDS is time; while the file it creates is not particularly large, she is still limited by data transfer speeds. It also takes time to reconstruct herself and her passengers when exiting a system. If a system Lisa is inside ceasing functioning(for example, a phone battery dying,) she will instantly be forced out of it along with her passengers, and likely suffer injuries due to the rushed reconstruction.
